The end of Allicia's 1st season of Baseball...a little late

Allicia had a great season of baseball.  She didn't enjoy it as much as I thought she would, but she was a trooper and stuck out the season.  She improved a lot over the summer and we really enjoyed watching her.

A Little Get-a-way!

Previous to my accident we planned a weekend away with our dear friends Gene and Steph.  We decided to still go and boy was it fun.  It was nice to have different scenery and to enjoy the beautiful weather. 

We did some fishing......

My new look....

Since my accident back in July, I have had the privilege of getting a few different casts. Below are pictures of each one.

Post Surgery

Cast #1

A Viking cast picked out by Kyle.  The kids flipped a coin to see who was going to pick out the color of my cast and he won.

This one hurt like a $#%$#%$%$ and that is why they put on a new one.

Cast #2

Since Kyle won the coin toss and picked out my first cast, it was only fair Allicia got to pick out my second cast. This one stayed on until it was time to have my stitches removed.

Cast #3

Since I didn't wear the Viking cast very long, I promised Kyle I would get Viking colors again.  Go Vikes!

I will have this cast until Sept 3rd when I hope to be able to get a walking cast.  Stay tuned!
