Here I am enjoying my favorite Monday night TV show, Dancing With The Stars, with my girls.

Before Ava was born Kyle went shopping and bought his little sister a Minnesota Vikings outfit (of course) and this bib. Now that Ava is constantly drooling...we've been putting a bib on her during the day. Today she wore the bib Kyle bought here. He's definitely a very proud big brother.

And Finally, here we are tonight making our Easter Egg cakeballs. 80 down 160 left to dip and decorate, but boy are they good!

Worst Haircut Ever!

I took Allicia in to get her haircut the other morning while I was walking the mall. After her haircut I noticed that the haircut didn't look that great, but I really didn't look at it too close. So, we left the mall and headed home. Later in the day after she had moved around and played for awhile, I really noticed how bad the haircut truly was. As you can see from the picture....it is really bad.

There were pieces all of the place that were at least 3 inches longer than the rest of her hair. You might ask how someone could miss these....but she did. Thankfully my sister cuts hair, so she came up and fixed it for us and I called the salon to complain. They were really good about it and refunded my money without even hesitating.

So today I'm sitting in the living room and all of a sudden I notice something in the tree outside my window. Ava and I get up to see and this is what we found!














Kyle and his friend Johnny! Boys, boys, boys!! That's all I have to say.

Ava Smiles and My Biggest Sports Fan!

Little Ava is full of smiles these days. Here are a few pictures of our happy little girl.

If you don't already know, Kyle is a sports FREAK! He eats, sleeps, and dreams everything from the Vikings, Twins, ESPN, etc. Anyway, the other day he was searching on AMAZON for football cards when he ran across some shoes he wanted SO bad! He begged and begged and since he really did need new shoes and promised me he would wear them, I let him order them. Well, they arrived yesterday and he was SO excited. As you can see from the picture below, they will coordinate well with handful of Vikings jerseys in his closet.

Spring Break Mini Vacation

On Saturday morning we packed up and headed north to Duluth to enjoy some time away from home at the Edgewater Water Park in Duluth. We had a very memorable but great trip. Some of the highlights from our trip were witnessing a serious case of road rage on I35 north of the cities, Ava not having a poopy pants for well over 36 hours and the sleepless nights as a result, watching the first ship of the shipping season coming down icy Lake Superior into Duluth, and driving home in a nasty winter storm (thank goodness we left early this morning). Below are some fun pictures we took while we were away!



Ava in her little swimming suit with Daddy introducing her to the water. She didn't actually go swimming...we only dipped her little toes in the water. Sorry Ava...mommy thinks you're too little to be in the chlorine water.
So most of the time....this is what little Ava did while her brother and sister enjoyed the water slides and lazy river. Good thing mommy brought a good book.

This is the ship we watched make it's way down Lake Superior. We watched the cutter boat brake up the ice for it to make its way through. The kids thought it was pretty cool.

Here are the kids looking out over Duluth with the icy lake behind them. We have all decided, although the Duluth trip was fun.....we much prefer looking out across the warm ocean for spring break and not an icy lake.

2 months already!!!

Our Little Pumpkin is already 2 months old. I can't believe how big she is getting already. She's really starting to get fun. Most of the time she is full of smiles....and I have to say she has the prettiest little smile ever. She has also started to gnaw on her fist and fingers all of the time and drools while doing it. Since birth she has always drooled a ton. I have never seen a baby drool as much as she does. There is seriously a drool stain in her crib from where she drools while she sleeps. It is hilarious! So here are a couple pictures of Ava that I took today....and one of her pretty smile that I took last week. As you can see she is really getting big.
