Our trip to Vegas!

Thursday we left for Vegas. We had a great time playing in the arcade, riding the roller coaster at New York New York, sitting by the pool, seeing the Lion King, and hanging out with family. Our last night in Vegas ended up being very eventful. Ava decided this trip to Vegas was going to be not only her 1st trip on an airplane, but her 1st time getting sick, and her 1st time going to the ER. And what a place to be, huh?!?! Thankfully we had a great taxi driver on our way to the ER, he took us to a hospital a little ways off the strip. It was pretty quiet, but definitely not like the hospitals we have here in MN. I am decently thankful for the health care system we have here at home. After a few hours at the ER we were finally able to see the doctor and Ava was diagnosed with a sore throat. They said she had white spots on her throat and her ears were a little red. So they discharged us with a prescription and sent us on our way. By the time we got back to the hotel, it was around 2:30 am. Dave and his Dad went to fill the prescription since we could only fill it in the State on Nevada, we were told there was a pharmacy just down the street from our hotel. At 4:30 am Dave and his Dad were finally home. Apparently the pharmacy just down the street was not open 24 hours like we thought it was, they ended up finding a pharmacy about 3 miles off the strip.
