Tonight Nancy (my mother-in-law) and I made our first attempt at canning pickles. We grew the cucumbers in our family garden, which I have to say were the only productive thing in our garden this year. Since that was our first attempt as well, we are planning on doing a few things different next year. Anyway....I will keep you posted on the pickles. It was actually an easy process and as of now, they look beautiful. We will see in 8 weeks how they taste.
